“You have to remind yourself that people always come first, even when a project is going the other direction.”
In O, the Oprah Magazine, Oprah Winfrey has a column every month called “What I know for sure”. Each article is articulate and Oprah shares her life experience and how it translates into being a better person. Our design philosophy is very similar. We believe in telling the truth even when it hurts.
What we know for sure is that when technology is simple and easy understand, the users respond very well to it. Doing over 1,000 hours of usability testing will share one underlying mistake almost all projects fail at: listening to the users.
We strongly believe that user research and usability testing is imperative nowadays to delivery a quality product. Guessing (or only listening to one opinion) is simply not enough. Designing iteratively, testing early, and testing often is the best way to build a quality design.
We build tools that customers love to use first—and that always results in a great product.
