Artifacts are tools we use throughout the entire development lifecycle to ensure a quality, usable, scalable, desirable, accessible, and consistent experience for our users. Our research is documented in the form of posters, spreadsheets, white-papers, and charts and the documentation is used to evangelize the important of our users so we never forget who we’re working for.
We create a plan that covers important design concepts, such as taxonomy, functional design, and user scenarios. Many companies choose not to invest in user centered design, or they just consider it a step in the process. We believe UCD is the whole process that drives everything.
