Building conceptual image that can be communicated across designers, developers, and stakeholders is essential to any product design. These schematics should include process diagrams from interaction designers, annotations, notes, requirements, business needs, and behaviors that everyone can agree upon before moving to the next step.
While these design artifacts are generally shared across a development team, they can also be used as a conversation medium between designers and all stakeholders involved. It’s important, however to note that wireframes only articulate functionality and do not make up colors, graphics, and typography. It is generally the responsibility of a designer to interpret these schematics into a user interface design.
